The following pricing is a guideline to assist with your planning.  Actual costs can vary and will be affected by such variables as weather, slope of your site, variety etc.  We can prepare a detailed cost estimate for your site after an initial site inspection.

We take on projects in one of two ways:
1. Consulting engagements in which we advise landowners who will be taking on the labor themselves.
2. Metayage - Is the European term.  We provide the expertise and the landowner provides the land and capital expenses.  We prefer this method as it allows us to pursue our primary goal of working with grapes we've grown.  The Landowner pays all costs of grape growing.  We pay all costs of winemaking.  The Landowner receives 5% of finished bottles.

The Metayage arrangement is fairly common in the Santa Cruz Mountains with variations by company. All are based on a system widely used in Burgundy, the only other major grape growing region in the world with a similar situation with land pricing and availability.
